An independent arbitrator, consultant, and solicitor, Dalma specializes in international disputes, blending expertise in arbitration, sales, and contract law across civil and common law systems.
With a decade of experience in law, she excels in professional training and has successfully coached arbitration advocacy teams at the Vis Moots in Vienna and Hong Kong.
As former Deputy Chair and current member of the UNCITRAL National Coordination Committee for Australia, Dalma champions global legal harmonization and is actively involved in international legal organizations.
Dalma’s research delves deeply into dispute resolution and legal education, blending theory with practical insight. Her 2016 sabbatical saw her conducting pivotal research at the prestigious Max Planck Institute and UNCITRAL in Vienna.
As a key member of the Executive of the Academic Review Committee for the Global Pound Conference Series, Dalma helped shape the future of dispute resolution, contributing to one of the most comprehensive empirical projects in the field.
In 2022, she co-authored a groundbreaking textbook on dispute resolution, the first of its kind, solidifying her role as a thought leader in the discipline.

Dalma is a NSW solicitor and academic that specialises in international arbitration, international sales, contracts, dispute resolution, and international business law. Fluent in English, Hungarian, and Romanian, she has expertise in both civil and common law systems. Since moving to Australia in 2010, she has been appointed as a sole arbitrator in domestic cases and is available for international arbitration appointments.
In principle, I teach law. In reality, I determine students to learn and develop into fully grown professionals ready to face the challenges of the legal profession.

Since starting as a teaching assistant during her doctoral studies in 2006, Dalma has been passionate about teaching. In 2010, she accepted a full-time academic position at the University of Canberra, where she developed and taught courses in arbitration, sales law, and mooting, and contributed to curriculum development.
In 2016, Dalma became Course Leader for a fully online LLM in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution, initially with the Swiss International Law School and later with Bond University. She continues to teach international dispute resolution and sales law in this practice-oriented program.
Dalma’s teaching has earned her four awards and recognition for coaching teams to victory in the 2013 International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong.
